I had to fork out some more cash, but now that is done and I am enjoying the improved ride I has promised myself - and having to spend around £60 once a year or so to change the chain and rear cassette is not so bad, I guess.
Feel what I feel tag:eclectic.me,2012-10-09:/id/322//comment_9327 2012-10-09T22:37:25+01:00 2012-10-09T22:36:31+01:00 Aero http://nonesoblind.net
I don’t think It is that one can’t expect understanding and empathy for one’s feelings. I agree with you that it is incredibly important in important relationships to feel understood and to have one’s feelings validated. But I would ask you these questions to further understand why this is important: How does one know when one has been fully understood? How does one know when one hasn’t? What difference to either person does this bring about? How do you know when you have fully understood another and what if any difference will that make to how you are? Finally, what happens if you have been understood but the person still doesn’t accept your point of view or has an alternative view of their own Does this still count as being understood? I’d like to discuss these questions with you.

Aero
Ghost Bikes tag:eclectic.me,2012-02-18:/id/301//comment_9326 2012-02-18T03:46:25+00:00 2012-02-18T03:46:25+00:00 Captain Marvelous http://eclectic.me
Weird that Christina Patterson has somehow avoided appearing on Wikipedia - maybe I'll start an entry? His style is a little odd at first but I soon realized the power of it. It’s as if he is painting in exquisite detail not just a visual picture for the reader but an extremely atmospheric one, capturing mood and perhaps the disconnect that I imagine our protagonist might be feeling given the nature of his arrival in New York.

The beginning was, as you said immediately capturing of interest, and the dawning of what had happened was shocking and intriguing all at the same time. It is a stonking start to what I hope will continue to be a consuming read.
tag:,2010-10-02:eclectic.me/id//comment_2981 2010-10-02T06:59:53+01:00 2010-10-02T06:59:53+01:00 seizedcar8721
I just sent this post to a bunch of my friends as I agree with most of what you’re saying here and the way you’ve presented it is awesome.
tag:,2010-09-25:eclectic.me/id//comment_2938 2010-09-25T04:32:16+01:00 2010-09-25T00:23:24+01:00 Annousscort http://www.computerworld.com/
Amazon launched two new Kindle e-readers priced at $139 and $189 late Wednesday, with the cheaper version a Wi-Fi-only e-reader and $10 less than the Wi-Fi-only Nook. ComputerWorld http://www.computerworld.com/ Note from the blog owner - I decided to leave this spam here, since it is at least on topic to the theme of the blog (though not UK based)
tag:,2010-09-07:eclectic.me/id//comment_2886 2010-09-07T23:52:11+01:00 2010-09-07T18:46:15+01:00 Greernsernirm
Hello!

Just want to say hello all and good evening.

Regards,

spammer
tag:,2010-08-31:eclectic.me/id//comment_2866 2010-08-31T19:13:09+01:00 2010-08-31T19:13:09+01:00 annie
well my darling fiance, what can a woman say when given such a handsome and loving apology as that? and when no need of one anyway, since it was my error. you are a wonderful man my Paul, and i sincerely hope i have got this right now and only you can read this one! love you zillions! annie xxx
Today I am sad.... tag:eclectic.me,2010-10-23:/id/237//comment_2809 2010-10-23T00:39:10+01:00 2010-08-10T18:35:47+01:00 annie http://www.nonesoblind.net
it is sad. he was a sweet if slightly obsessed man but with obsession as you say comes passion sometimes too. he had obviously had life changing experiences and it must have been something wonderful for him to have his music so often performed. he loved his wife and was completely batty over his dogs. he struck me as kind too. funny that we sang his sanctus together but weren't as it were then!
